Research Topics
1. Pharmacogenomics
Pharmacogenomics is a powerful emerging field that provides meaningful data that can help prevent adverse drug reactions, deliver beneficial treatments faster, and lower medical costs.
2. Microbiomics
Microbiomics is a fast-growing field in which all the microorganisms’ genome of a given community (a ‘microbiota’) are investigated together. It could be referred to the microbiota of an environmental sample (e.g. soil or water), a particular anatomical site (e.g. the gut or the mouth) or from a particular organism (e.g. farm or zoo animals). This group is studing the interaction of radiopharmaceuticls with the gut microbiome diversity.
3. Regulatory affairs
Regulatory affairs in medical science is a field aimed to protect public health by controlling the safety and efficacy of products in areas including pharmaceuticals, veterinary medicines, medical devices, pesticides, agrochemicals, cosmetics and complementary medicines, and by the companies responsible for the discovery, testing, manufacture and marketing of these products wanting to ensure that they supply products that are safe and make a worthwhile contribution to public health and welfare.
