This unit aims to engineer plants with increase value. This facility is developing plant biotechnologies for disease control. Pseudomonas syringae is a major plant pathogen. We are developing phage-based biopesticides against this plant disease.

Another ongoing project is the development of edible vaccines against cancer causing viruses.

This facility is also able to perform phytotoxicity assays as demand.
